​HRC Fitness Center Classes

With an energetic group fitness class schedule that has a set of core classes that remains the same and then a revolving monthly schedule of other unique classes, there is always something designed for every fitness level, time of day, or activity you are looking for!  In each class our instructors can show modifications so that no matter your fitness level you are a part of the “Group!”

So come Spin, Roll, Suspension, Lift, or Sit; and challenge your fitness level,  or just get moving in one of the many Group Fitness Classes.

All classes are $2.00 to Drop In or save with a punch card!  12 punches for $20.00. Senior (55 and older) drop in is $1.00 each and Senior punch cards are available at 11 punches for $10.00.

FIT MIX – 45 Min

Monday’s - Wednesday’s - Friday’s

Need a place to start, this is the class for you.  In this class, we will work on strength training with and without weight, cardio, and core.  Each exercise can be modified to your fitness level.  Start off slow and work your way up.  There is something new each day!

 

YOGA EXPRESS – 30 minutes

Monday’s - Wednesday’s

Sun Salutations that emphasize strength & flexibility are the foundation of this class.  A series of poses connect & flow, work the body to the core while stretching muscles & opening joints.

 

BODY BLAST – 30 minutes

Tuesday’s - Thursday’s

Join us for an invigorating, mid-day cardio blast! This class will push you the entire 30 minutes focusing on calorie burning, core strength, and toning exercises.

SENIOR AGED FOR ACTION – 45 min.

Tuesday’s - Thursday’s

This class is designed for the 55 and older club.  Seated aerobic exercises are designed to help individuals with low mobility and health problems like diabetics who suffer from chronic complications.  This can also help improved blood sugar control and improved cardiovascular health.

 

SLOW, STEADY, STRETCH YOGA

45 minutes – Tuesday’s  - Thursday’s

This yoga class is the style of hatha and Ashtanga.  We incorporate vigorous movement to build heat and strength while also using gentle and slow movement using breath to move. During the class, you will use your body to release stress, relax muscles, and build strength by utilizing your own weight in holding positions.

 

TOTAL BODY TRX – 45 minutes

Monday’s - Tuesday’s - Thursday’s

This low-impact class will focus on suspension training (TRX), and body-weight movements.  We will work on form, strengthening, flexibility and your overall fitness.  This class welcomes EVERYONE!

 

STRETCH & STABILITY – 45 minutes

Monday’s - Wednesday’s

As we grow older, many of us lose balance and strength, causing unnecessary injuries.  In addition, it is easily ignored, but both are major parts of an exercise routine.  And that’s ok because we have just the class for you!  This 45-minute session will have you feeling more confident in no time.  Everyone is welcome!

 

SPIN & STRENGTH – 60 minutes

Tuesday’s - Thursday’s

This is an interval class that combines spinning and some time off the bike working on strength.  This is an intense, fast-paced class. **BIKES ARE LIMITED, PLEASE CALL HRC FITNESS TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT**

 

CORE – 30 minutes

Monday’s

Get ready to sculpt and strengthen the stabilizer of the body……YOUR CORE.  This 30-minute class will solely focus on just that…..CORE…

 

We have a great rotation of other classes that include but are not limited to these classes.

 

SPIN

In this class, our instructors will take you through a 30-minute ride through various methods.  From hills to sprints, this class will make that heart work, making this a great cardiovascular workout.  **Pre-registration is strongly recommended, as bikes are limited.

 

WARM SPIN

We will bump the temp up and make sure you sweat through this class.  This is a 30-minute Spin class on the bike for the whole class period.  Our instructor will take you on a ride with various intervals and hills.  You will never be bored and all the while burning some major calories.  **Please bring a towel and water.  The class will start promptly at 5:00am.  **Pre-registration is strongly advised**

 

STRENGTH & CARDIO

This  class will have you looking and feeling your best.  This 30-minute cardio/strength blast, will get that heart pumping, and make that body a lean, mean fat burnin’ machine.

 

WARM HIIT

Thinkin’ you can’t possibly get a good workout in 30 minutes........well come to this class and you will leave with a different opinion. Through various timed intervals, we will get that heart pumping and maximize our time.  The room will be heated so PLEASE bring a water bottle.

 

METABOLIC CONDITIONING 

This class will have a heavy focus on strength, with the use of many different implements and strategies to get you in the best shape of your life.  Your metabolism will rev up and stay up all day. 

 

TOTAL BODY 

This class is just the way to end your week.  You will get an awesome mix of exercises using a core strengthening Bosu ball.  Moving through various exercises, circuit style so you will NEVER get bored.  Finishing off with a nice stretch session.
