**NEW**REFUND POLICY
Your satisfaction is important to us.  Due to program costs, including instructors, supplies, and to help maintain our minimum numbers, we ask for your cooperation when requesting a refund or credit.  Our policy is to provide a full refund or credit, your choice, to anyone who cancels by the deadline.  Anything after the deadline, will not receive a refund/credit unless your spot can be filled.

ONGOING WELLNESS PROGRAM
 
CONSULTATION TUESDAYS
Come utilize our professional staff to help keep your goals in sight. On the 2nd Tuesday of every month, you can receive a FREE Fitness Assessment or Body Fat Analysis (by appointment only). This is a great way to keep track of your fitness progress. You must also be an active HRC Fitness Center member to be eligible for this. Call to schedule an appointment at 623-2658. 
 
BLOOD PRESSURE CHECK
Have you had your blood pressure checked lately?  You can have your blood pressure checked monthly or weekly for FREE.  A personal card will be kept on file at the HRC Fitness Center.
 
WEEKLY WEIGH-IN IT’S “FREE”
Staying motivated to lose those extra pounds can be very challenging.  Let us help you by dropping in weekly to weigh-in. A personal weigh-in card will be started for you, and each week you will chart your progress toward your goal.  There is no charge!
 
SENIOR HOUR IN THE FITNESS CENTER
Come exercise and feel at home with others your speed and your style. This is an hour-long period every weekday Monday through Friday from 9:00 - 10:00am. This segment of the day is catered for our Senior and Adult participants who may feel out of place with the younger crowd. Come try our facility in a more welcoming environment.
 
HRC GYM DAILY WALKERS
Come use the HRC Gyms when it is too cold or wet to walk outdoors. Sign up for this program, keep track of your own mileage, and at 100 miles you will receive a t-shirt. To receive a t-shirt an individual must sign up for this FREE program, walk the HRC GYMS, and complete their 100 miles in one calendar year. Times are available all day to walk, however, the best time to walk is between 5:00am - 12:00pm Monday - Friday.  Check our web page or call the office to confirm the open gym time. Walking distances:
Walk all 3 gyms - 9 laps = 1 mile
Walk Gym #1 & #2 - 12 laps = 1 mile

TAI CHI SENIORS
Tai Chi Senior is a proactive origination in China and has been used for many years to promote health and wellbeing.  It has been seen that Tai Chi can help to improve balance and relaxation.  It consists of slow, fluid movements, which is done in a standing position.  This class is geared toward senior adults and beginner Tai Chi participants. This class will also bring to you standing yoga poses that will complete your overall mind and body.

FULL MOON YOGA
Have you ever taken a walk under a full moon and felt …loved? Join me as the full moon rises for an evening of yoga poses.  Poses will include the sun salutation as it sets and full moon as it rises.  We will relax with refreshing drinks and lite evening snack.

BEER & BRATS UNDERACHEIVER RACE
I don’t know if I can?  WE KNOW YOU CAN!  Just 31,680 inches, 2640 feet or 0.5 miles. We have faith that everyone one of you can make it!  You get an awesome souvenir t-shirt, Free beer at the “water station”, and a Brat at the finish line.  Let’s show those runners how it’s done!

PARK RUN
Join us for a Saturday morning jog and short workout. We will jog to various parks and stop at each location for a short exercise circuit utilizing the equipment that the parks’ have to offer.  All running levels are welcome to join!  Gear up, and get movin’ with us!

YOGA & BEER
Yoga, and beer, WHAT!!  With the help of Defiance Brewing Co., we are able to bring this event to Hays. We will meet at Defiance Brewing for some afternoon yoga, followed by some beer tastings of our choice.  Come on out for a good stretch, some laughs, and a chance to try out some of our local brews!!!

CORPORATE WELLNESS CHALLENGE
This is a fun and healthy way to keep your employees motivated throughout the holiday and winter months. There are three different monthly challenges and corporate winners of the challenges will receive a free month’s membership. You must be a participating Corporate Wellness and Health Incentive company to participate in this program.

SENIOR FUN & FITNESS
Join the Hays Recreation, Progressive Physical Therapy and the Fort Hays students who participate in a class called Leisure Programming for the Older Adults, as we share ways to get and stay healthy.  There will be a variety of stations you can access to learn about chair band therapy, play pickleball, balance activities and a lot more.    We will have handouts, water, and a light snack.  There will be giveaways!  Don’t miss out!!

BLACK FRIDAY BOOTCAMP
We all LOVE Thanksgiving!  But, many of us have regrets about the whole pie we ate or the fact that we made 6 trips through the food line.  Don’t worry, we have you covered.  This Bootcamp will BURN all those access and unwanted calories, in one swoop!  So, if you’re feeling sluggish, and want a safe, effective, intense workout, look no further.  Join us for this FREE Bootcamp and work off those unwanted calories. GOBBLE, GOBBLE!

NEW YEAR’S BOOTCAMP
Ready to begin a New Year?  60-minutes each Saturday morning join us for Bootcamp. We will kick off this event off at our NEW YEARS PALOOZA! Let us help direct you towards your New Year’s fitness goals in this eight-weekend long program in a controlled, fun, and safe environment. We will use strength, body weight, and interval training for a healthy dose of fitness knowledge for you to take and use on your own. This program will include prizes for various challenges, healthy recipes weekly, a private FB group for support and questions, or just motivation and celebrations.  You will also receive a t-shirt/tank upon completion of the Bootcamp.

HRC NEW YEAR’S PALOOZA
Come spend the morning meeting instructors and trainers, and tour our beautiful facility at Hays Rec Fitness.  This will be a free event!  We will sample some of our Group Classes, as well as having drawings for door prizes and half-priced punch cards. Healthy snacks will be served. Don’t miss out on this.
This FREE event will also kick off our NEW YEAR BOOTCAMP.
