ONGOING WELLNESS PROGRAM

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECK
Have you had your blood pressure checked lately?  You can have your blood pressure checked monthly or weekly for free.  A personal card will be filled out just for you and kept on file at the HRC Fitness Center.

WEEKLY WEIGH-IN
Staying motivated to lose those extra pounds can be very challenging.  A personal card will be started for you and each week you will chart your progress toward your goal.  There is no charge!

HRC GYM DAILY WALKERS
Keep track of your mileage and at 100 miles receive a t-shirt. You must register with us and walk 100 miles in one calendar year. Individuals must walk the HRC GYMS routinely to be eligible for this.  Times are available all day to walk, however the best time to walk is between 5:00am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday.  Check our web page or call the office to confirm open gym time.
 Walk all 3 gyms - 9 laps = 1 mile
 Walk Gym #1 & #2 - 12 laps = 1 mile

HRC RUNNERS CLUB
This is a runners club designed for those who love to run. We will meet weekly and be part of a group that shares a common interest and love for running. The annual fee includes a running jersey and discounted entrance fee to HRC running and triathlon events. You may choose to get additional individualized running programs from 5k, 10k, 1/2, and Full Marathons.
Annual Fee: $30.00
Individual Running Programs: $40.00
Entry fee to HRC running event: $5.00

SLIM AT SIX BOOTCAMP
Get in shape and get a total body workout without the gym.  This 6 week program is designed to teach you to use the outdoor environment as your training facility.  Our Certified trainer will structure workouts designed to increase your cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, and flexibility, all with non-traditional methods.  No drop-in or punch cards.

**NEW** BREAKFAST CLUB
Time to dig out your best 80’s gear!  Get those sweat bands out, and join us for an upbeat, fun, morning of 80’s inspired workouts and the music to match.  Afterwards, we will have a light breakfast for everyone.  You don’t want to miss this event!

THE PARK BASH
Instructors will lead you on a run from the Hays Rec Fitness Center to a park where they will break into groups and lead you through a series of fat burning circuits. You will return back to the Rec with a cool down.

**NEW**NATIONAL YOGA DAY
This day of jam-packed Yoga inspired events is in celebration of National Yoga Day.  There will be a series of Yoga based events at different locations all throughout the day.  Join us for one or all!  All activities are drop-in, except Yoga & Wine.

YOGA & WINE
Join us at Bickle Schmidt Sports Complex for a relaxing outdoor evening. We will take part in a series of yoga poses overlooking the scenic waves of grain at sunset. Other beverages will also be available to those who chose not to drink. (MUST BE 21)

SUMMER SWEAT BOOTCAMP
Using what nature has to offer, (think stump jumps not box jumps, Balance on a log, etc.) burn maximum calories using minimal equipment.  This intense boot camp, will have you loving the great outdoors, gaining strength, and getting your sweat on.
